I brought my 2015 GMC Terrain in for a check engine light and they diagnosed a misfire on cylinder 3. The repair (ignition coil and spark plugs) was done correctly and my car is running smoothly again. The total came out to about $636 for the diagnostic, ignition coil, and spark plug replacement. I appreciated that they didn’t try to upsell unnecessary repairs and used quality parts. My only concern was the pricing—labor and diagnostic fees made the total higher than expected, and the diagnostic was not applied toward the repair. I would recommend asking for a full breakdown before approving work. Overall, a reliable shop for accurate diagnostics, but pricing is on the higher side. I would consider returning for diagnostics but would likely compare pricing for future repairs.

Pulled up to Huff Automotive after working several shifts at the station right down the street — I’m a local firefighter and had passed by the shop a bunch of times. After seeing it so often and reading the good reviews online, I decided to finally pop in just to get a cold air intake installed. I told John I was eventually looking to do an exhaust too, and instead of just upselling me, he kept it real and told me to order it elsewhere to avoid their markup. That alone earned my respect. Then he walked me through some options with one of his exhaust techs, and they helped me put together a setup that hit exactly the sound I was going for — but way more budget-friendly than what I originally planned. Super transparent, knowledgeable, and actually cared about getting me what I wanted instead of just making a sale. The pricing came out way better than expected and the whole process felt smooth. Definitely coming back.

I had a broken exhaust on my car and took it to Huff Muffler, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. They got me in quickly, diagnosed the issue right away, and had it fixed faster than I expected. The weld work looks solid and professional, and my car sounds great again.

I went in to get my Lancer’s new exhaust welded on but the one I bought didn’t fit and Mike made me a custom 2.5” to 3” mid pipe plus removed the cat. He did an amazing job! Had great conversations and he let me watch and help. It sounds incredible and very happy how it turned out! I absolutely recommend EVERYONE who wants exhaust work done to come here.

I arrived at the shop without an appointment after being referred there by another shop that could not help with my broken brake line which caused very degraded braking performance. Justin the owner put my Dodge Sprinter RV van up on a lift and determined what needed to be done. Huff has a new brake line fabricated nearby and installed it. As long as the RV was up on the lift I had them change the oil in my propane generator and rubberize coat my propane tank. I had an important medical appointment nearby and Justin loaned me his personal vehicle so I could keep the appointment. I was very impressed with the assistance provided, especially for the vehicle loan.
